Distinguished Sustainer Award:
This award is given to one Sustainer each year. To be
considered, it is highly recommended each candidate has held her Sustaining
status for a minimum of seven years; has, at one time, been a strong, active
leader in the JLO; has taken her volunteer training from the League and
implemented it in the community; and, lastly, has made a significant impact,
either professionally or personally, in our community. Our past award recipients include:

Sustainer Hall of
Fame:
Each year
the Junior League of Omaha selects two or three Sustaining members to be
inducted into the JLO Hall of Fame. For consideration, each candidate
must have been a Sustainer for at least five years; be currently active in the
JLO (or active within the last three years) as an advisor, project placement or
honorary chairman; and be active in numerous community
groups/guilds/boards. Additionally, the candidate may not be a past
President of the Junior League of Omaha.

Women to Watch:
This award recognizes an Active
member's support and dedication to the Junior League of Omaha's mission of promoting
volunteerism, developing the potential of women and improving the
community. The award is given to a
maximum of three members in honor of the three founding members of the JLO. This award celebrates the trained volunteers
of the JLO and their spirit of volunteerism.
