promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving our
community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers!
Membership
in the League is open to all women who are at least 21 years of age and who
demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism. The Junior League
reaches out to women of all races, religions and national origins.

We are
currently preparing for our 2008/09 New Member/Provisional Training Class and
have arranged several informational forums to be held at JLO
Headquarters (608 N. 108th Court). Food
and beverages will be provided at each of the forums. Please RSVP to the Office Manager, via email:

or phone at: 493-8818 to let us know which (please choose 1) informational
forum you would like to attend. Dates
and times will be announced soon.
At your
chosen forum, you will get a chance to learn more about the Junior League, its
many projects and fundraisers, opportunities for volunteerism, and its wide
impact on the city of Omaha. You will also learn what time requirements,
financial commitments and other engagements are expected of you as a new/provisional
member. You are welcome to invite
interested friends, neighbors, relatives or coworkers to join you in attending
an informational forum - please make sure they RSVP too! For additional
